Spring is here! You can feel it in the air, see it in the blossoms, and hear it in the bird’s chirping...I know I can.
If you want to plant this spring, planning is a big part of the process. Create a timeline of what you want to plant for the rest of the year and how long each item takes to grow. This will allow you to stay ahead and always maximize the efficiency of your garden. If you are not sure, I would love to help you!
We recently held a spring planting session where several Harvest neighbors brought their seeds to plant in temporary planting trays which are kept in my greenhouse until April (after the last freeze). In mid-April, Harvest neighbors will move their plants to their gardens. If you missed the spring planting session, not to worry I will be hosting another one on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 10:00 am.
If you are looking for a way to get your children engaged in gardening, I am hosting a Junior Gardener Club this spring. For information or to register, CLICK HERE.
